Hey there gorgeous,
I cant believe how fast this year went...Only two weeks left. 14 days, 336 hours, 20,160 minutes, 1,290,600 seconds. No matter how you say it, time is starting to dwindle away. No more daily coffees at the campus coffee shop, no more late night study seshes with your best friends, and no more knowing that you are going to see them everyday. Summer is literally right around the corner and I am not ready to say goodbye. I know that eventually the room I called home will be assigned to another freshman, with hopes and dreams like we had. Our laughs which kept the neighbors awake will be silent and laying up in our beds with those midnight talks will be only memories.
I never knew that someone could impact my life like you had. Whether you were my roommate, floor-mate, classmate, we made so many memories this year. We shared the scary experiences of going to our first classes and taking our first stressful college test. It was amazing that when I looked beside me, this person who was a stranger only a matter of two weeks ago, I saw a person who has become my best friend. I knew you better than I knew myself most times. I hate even thinking that there will be a time when we will go years without talking because life gets busy. This summer shouldn't be that big of a deal but it is. I am going to miss you like crazy.
Please send me tons of texts, snapchats, and don't forget to call. Your voice is music to my ears and will always be my favorite song. Though I don't want you worrying about me all the time, I am a big girl. I know life gets hectic and you have those childhood friends who had to live eight long months without you, I understand those few days where you might forget. I won't promise that I will not constantly text you just to remind you that I exist, or tell you everything that is going on in this season's Bachelorette because in all honesty, I will. I do expect to be sent to voicemail more than a few tens of times and I promise I will be leaving you loving or threatening voicemails. I only do it because I love you.
So please don't forget me, that girl who is sometimes crazy and can get annoying. I know that we will be making so many more memories in the years to come and maybe its time to close the chapter on our freshman year. I couldn't have survived without your constant encouragement and all the moments that we have made. You truly made freshman year the best. I can't wait for the next few years of college in our future, I know they will be memorable.
See you soon.
Your college best friend.
