To My Co-Workers Who Became My Best Friends

To my Co Workers who became my best friends,

I remember the first day we met. It was so awkward. We didn't know it yet, but this was just the beginning of a beautiful friendship. A friendship that would keep us close across thousands of miles and counting down the days until we were reunited for the summer. As this summer comes to an end I wanted to tell you guys just how much you mean to me.

Being together for eight weeks nonstop would be enough to drive anyone crazy, but not us. There was never a dull moment. After that first day, there was never another moment of awkward silence. We became fast friends. Thank you for being the best friends I have ever had.

Spending so much time together created a lot of inside jokes. I have never laughed as hard as I laugh when I'm with you guys. There is always something funny happening in the kitchen, whether it be me burning another pan of food, or things scouts have said. We can never be mad at each other for long, because someone will do something stupid to get the group laughing again. So thank you guys for making me laugh so hard my sides hurt and I have tears streaming down my face.

That camp has seen us through so many things. It is there we talked for hours about boys, future plans, our fears, doubts, insecurities, and everything in between. Never once did I feel judgement, only love and support. Thank you so much for being my shoulders to cry on and listening to my every problem.

Even though we live so far apart, I never once felt us drifting. I knew if I ever needed anything you guys were only a phone call away. I knew I could always count on you. I am so grateful to have such faithful friends. For that, I say thank you.

So as we prepare to say goodbye once again, I want you guys to know how much I appreciate your friendship. I love you all so much. Saying goodbye is the worst, but always know its not goodbye, it's see you later. Thank you again for another amazing summer of late nights, laughs, and long talks. I won't soon forget it.

Love,

Meg Meg

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
