My love,

I genuinely cannot believe we have spent two years together already! I mean, they do say time flies when you're having fun. There are many words I would use to describe the past two years together, and fun is certainly one of them. The adjectives goofy, adventurous, and loving come to mind as well, to name a few. We fit together like Nutella and pretzels, (which also happens to be our favorite snack combo)!

I am so grateful that you came into my life just over two years ago. When we first met, thanks to a mutual friend, I had no idea just how big of an impact you would have on me, not just from a romantic perspective, but also in the form of friendship. Even two years later, you continue to be my rock, my biggest fan, and my life partner, through and through. You are my best friend in the whole wide world!

You have taught me so much over the past two years. You have taught me to not take life so seriously. You have taught me that while it is important to plan for the future, it is even more important to live in the moment. You have taught me what the best version of myself looks like, and you push me to be that girl each and every day. However, you have also taught me to love myself even on the days that I am not the best version of me. I think so highly of you, and you already know that. You love me so flawlessly!

This anniversary means even more to me than our first, simply because we are also moving into a new chapter of our lives. We will be graduating college next month, and starting our journey into true adulthood. While anyone our age experiences feelings of uncertainty at this time, I feel calm and ready, for I know I'll have you by my side through it all. Maybe not physically, but I know you're always there, cheering me on and believing in me, no matter what. The feeling is mutual, forever and always!

I could honestly write you a million love letters, and still not say all I want to say, still not convey all the wonderful emotions you make me feel to the fullest. In the beautiful words of Luke Combs, "some things just go better together, and probably always will", like me and you. Here's to many more anniversaries!

I love you dearly,

Your girl

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Their songs have brought me more joy, peace, and comfort. I can listen to them in any situation and find what I need. Here are the best lyrics from The Beatles for every and any occasion.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
