Dear Best Friend,

I can't believe the day has come for you to move off to college and pursue your career. Even though I hate to see you leave, I couldn't be more proud of you and how hard you've worked to get to the point you are at right now, and I can't wait to see what all you'll accomplish in the future. It seems like yesterday that we were starting high school, thinking that this day was years away, and we blink and it's here.

I'm so thankful that God gave me you to do life with. You've made me a better person and I could never thank you enough for everything you've done for me. Thank you for always buying my food. Thank you for always having worship services in the car with me. Thank you for all the late night conversations about Jesus. Thank you for always listening to my rants. Thank you for always reminding me to put Jesus first in everything I do. Thank you for always encouraging me to be the best that I can be.

Thank you for always getting popsicles and tacos with me.

Thank you for always reminding me that I'm lactose intolerant.

Thank you for always listening to my stories, even though I have several "squirrel moments."

Lastly, thank you for always being by my side. I couldn't have made it the last 4 years without you.

I don't know what I'm going to do without being able to drive to your house and be there in 10 minutes if I have a bad day and need a Netflix and junk food night. However, I can't wait to come visit you and see your new town. I can't wait for all the late night phone calls and FaceTimes.

You're beautiful. You're smart. Never stop praying. Never stop believing in your self. You're the strongest person I know. Never lose your loving, caring spirit. Don't be afraid to step out of your comfort zone. I can't wait to see what all you accomplish in this new chapter of your life. I can't wait to join you in 2 years but until then, I'll be counting down the days until we see each other again. I have so much love for you and I'm so proud to be your best friend.
