Women everywhere either wow the world with how amazing their makeup can be or they surprise the world with how great the all natural look can be on a lady. Ladies are taking a stand for either side but are being put down for it all over the world. Today's society is bashing today's girls for wearing makeup, why? Becuase they think they look fake, like they are trying to be something they are not. Honestly, who are they to judge if a girl should wear a mask or not? Makeup is a way that some girls feel confident and to others it's a way to express themselves.
Girls, if it makes you feel beautiful then you do you, don't let society tell you it's not okay to do winged eyeliner or do very bold, dramatic lashes or use a crazy shade of lipstick. You're the one who has to get up every morning and look at yourself in the mirror, yes you are beautiful without it all on, but if you want to take the time to apply your favorite makeup you should!
Society acts as if it's a terrible idea for women and girls to be sucked into this type of habit. Makeup has became so imbedded into our everyday lives, it's became the normal thing for women and it shouldn't be shot down by those whose opinions shouldn't even matter.
Makeup is a passion, if blending is your cardio then I say let it be! Express the way you feel through your makeup! If people are gonna judge and stare at least make it worth it...
Now to pick apart the other side, the women who choose to go all natural, who do not pick up a mascara wand every morning; I salute you if you can walk outside everyday and rock your skin with confidence without adding a thing to it. Going all natural does show off the "real you" as some like to say. You are not scared if you have a blemish or dark circle under your eye, if people can't accept you when you have those then what's the point in having them around, right? Haters are gonna hate, so just go with the flow and keep that natural look sweetheart!
Some women who are not all about the makeup world are viewed at times as "sloppy" or "lazy" that is not the case. Just because a lady is comfortable with her skin does not make her lazy; it makes her brave and we should embrace the ladies who are able to do this. Women do not do things to impress society or men or other women they do it to impress themselves. If a women doesn't wear anything on her face its because she wants to and she feels fantastic about it! Ladies, you are very strong and courageous for being able to still be who you are in this crazy, messed up world we live in.
The moral to this is, no matter if you choose the mask or not, do not shame the other. If a girl wants to wake up at 5:00 in the morning and make her face glow then don't bash her for it. And to the girl that's able to wake up 20 mins before whatever it is she's doing and still go out looking fabulous bless her soul, she is lucky. Everyone needs to stop attacking women for their choices to either go natural or bold. All women are beautiful with or without the mask!
