Open Letter To Coffee

Dear Coffee,

Bless your soul. You have saved me more times than you will ever know.

Every time I woke up 20 minutes late, needed to stay up until 3am studying for a test or needed to cool down on a hot summer day you've been there. You are the friend that has never left me. You can go from being plain old you to a fancy cappuccino version of you.

You know how to get me going when I need it, you fill me with warmth when it's cold out and you chill my body when it's hot. Not only do you help me when I need it but you are so delicious. From hazelnut to french vanilla the possibilities are endless with you.

Thank you for just being you. You let me go through all different stages without ever giving up on me. I can go through a super light and sweet stage or even a really dark stage, sometimes even black.

Thank you for being there when I realize I have a test in the morning I never studied for or a paper I probably should have started writing two weeks ago. Thank you for giving me that extra boost, you're the best friend I could ever ask for.
