October is over. The trees are loosing their leafs. The air is crisp and bitter. The chill of winter is slowly approaching. 'Tis the season to start listening to holiday music!

Yes, Thanksgiving is the next holiday in line but Thanksgiving isn't celebrated through music. The holiday is celebrate through food and being surrounded by your loved one. Christmas is the time to celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ, give to those who have nothing, surround yourself with your loved ones, listen to carols/traditional Christmas music, watch Love Actually, and drink gingerbread lattes from Starbucks!

I have put together a Winter 16 playlist on Spotify! I have included a mixture of artists that have put their own twist on classics and have produced their own Christmas songs. I hope you enjoy it!

My Only Wish (This Year) - Britney Spears

Underneath The Tree - Kelly Clarkson

Do They Know It's Christmas? - Band Aid 30

Santa Tell Me - Ariana Grande

All I Want For Christmas Is You - Michael Bublé

Last Christmas - Glee Cast

Grown-Up Christmas List - Amy Grant

This Christmas - Christina Aguilera

and if it was on Spotify...

Santa Clause Lane - Hillary Duff

When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
