4 Reasons Tina Fey And Amy Poehler Are #FriendshipGoals

The upcoming film, "Sisters," will be released in theaters this Christmas. "Sisters" will feature two well-known actresses, Tina Fey and Amy Poehler. As seen in trailers for "Sisters," the chemistry that Fey and Poehler have been unlike any other. Tina Fey and Amy Poehler set the standard high for other people and their BFFs to be #FriendshipGoals, or to have moments that define their friendship with #FriendshipGoals. But, let’s be real here, no matter how much we love our best friend(s) and the friendship we have with them, we all wish we were Tina Fey and Amy Poehler at some point in our lives. And, here’s why…

Tina Fey and Amy Poehler have been friends for YEARS.

Some people may have met the person who would eventually become their best friend a few days ago, a few weeks ago, months ago or years ago. Some people may have met the person who would eventually become their best friend while they were in diapers. Some people may have met the person who would eventually become their best friend while they were coloring with crayons in nursery school or elementary school. Some people may have met the person who would eventually become their best friend in college. Some people, such as Tina Fey and Amy Poehler, met at the ImprovOlympics in Chicago in 1993 (Thanks to Tina and Amy for both having a sense of humor.) Although the 1990s sound recent, but after doing the math, these besties have been going strong for over 20 years. It is crazy that Amy and Tina have been friends for so long.

Tina Fey and Amy Poehler hosted the Golden Globes Awards together.

The Oscars, the Grammys, the AMAs, the People's Choice Awards, the BMAs, the SAG Awards...The list of awards that exist can go on forever, but I certainly cannot forget to mention the Golden Globes Award. And why is that? In case you did not know, Tina and Amy hosted the Golden Globes Awards Show for three consecutive years from 2013 to 2015. Many people dream about attending a famous awards show filled with some of Hollywood's finest stars. But to be a host of awards show with your best friend, now THAT is a friendship goal.

Tina Fey and Amy Poehler have made appearances on SNL together.

Tina and Amy are basically "Saturday Night Live" royalty. Since the early 2000s, Tina and Amy have performed in dozens of sketches alone, and with each other. These SNL pioneers generated laughs from the audience and other viewers for hosting the "Weekend Update" sketch for two years. Tina and Amy continue to star in SNL sketches, and they never fail to disappoint. But seriously, performing in SNL's Studio 8H with your best friend?! #goals

Tina Fey and Amy Poehler have starred in movies together.

"Sisters" is not the only movie Tina and Amy are both featured in. Tina and Amy starred in "Martin & Orloff," "Baby Mama" and in the comedic film people know and love, better known as "Mean Girls." Best friends making it on the big screen...How cool is that?!

Best friends. Co-stars. Partners-in-crime. Award-show hosts. SNL pioneers. #FriendshipGoals

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
