The 10 Types of People You'll See on New Years Eve

On New Years Eve there will be many types of people you will see in person or on social media. I thought this would be a good topic to do since 2016 is coming to end and Hello 2017!

1.) The Social Media one

The person who is Posting to Instagram and has to hashtag everything!! Also snap chatting there whole New years eve. And show everyone how lit they are. And tweets everything of what they are doing! Then they look back in the morning and they have 100 posts of everything!!

2.) The emotional mess

The person who can't believe 2016 is coming to an end. When people keep on bringing up memories and the person can't handle it without being an emotional mess. The emotional one who will be in full on tears when the countdown starts. This person is not neccisarly bad just making you feel old by brining back good and bad memories.

3.) The Secretary

The person who makes sure everything is in order. Running around asking when is the pizza coming???? Do you want a refill on your champagne? If you have any questions at a New Years party ask this person. This person makes sure the NYE show is on. This person wants everything to be perfect. Lets be honest and say you should appreciate how much work this person put into the New Years Eve party!

4.) The ' I think I can dance'

The person who is on the dance floor and starts dancing. But then you look and it looks like just bad break dancing. And that person is standing next to a professional dancer. But we have to support them for there effort of trying.

5.) The alcohol queen/king of the night

This type of person who will be drinking from the start of the party in 2016 until they are in 2017. This person makes sure drinks and shots are going around for the whole night! This person will literally drink anything. We support them but we all know how hungover they will be the next morning.

6.) The Fetus

We all know one person WHO CAN NOT STAY UP UNTIL 12:00. This person will be in bed at 8:00pm because that is there routine. And you will find this person passed out at 8:01. Like you do you but don't you want to see the ball drop.

7.) The BOMB. COM

This person puts in so much effort on how they look. This persons outfit and whole look looks on point. For a woman this girl is probably wearing the sparkliest dress, on point jelwery, and heels. This woman got her hair done. Her makeup probably took hours to do. And her nails done too! For a man this guy is wearing a tuxedo, got his hair nicely done and gelled back. This two people would be crowned as Prom King and Queen! These two people are the definition of bomb. com We all know there are always two people who make sure they look bomb af!

8.) The couchers

These adults are usually in charge of the kids who have been placed on the couch. So the parents can be irresponsible for them. But the couchers seem to be somewhat lucky because they get front row seats when the ball drops.

9.) The anti- social

There's always that one person who's usually holding a glass of wine, standing in the corner with their phone. Not talking to anyone, having no interest in what's going on around them, holding a fake smile. They have obviously been forced here, either by their spouse or their friends or their boy/girlfriend. Whatever the case is, they don't want to be there. They would much rather be at home watching Netflix alone. Honestly, that doesn't seem like that bad of an idea.

10.) The HYPED UP one

This person has been hyped up from when the party has started. This person is like roll in the new year! New Year New me! This person is always excited with dancing and laughing! This person is like literally bring in the new year!

This should be everyone though! You can be any of the above but you should always be hyped up for the new year! Its a way to start fresh and leave all the bad memories behind! New slate in a new year. New chances, new memories, new adventures!! While 2016 had some great memories, it's time to start anew. Happy New Year's everyone! And Happy 2017!

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Their songs have brought me more joy, peace, and comfort. I can listen to them in any situation and find what I need. Here are the best lyrics from The Beatles for every and any occasion.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
