To The Man Who Loves Me

You've been there for me through everything.

Two years doesn't sound like a long time until you think about it in days, which is 730 days, but you also barely think about the days before you met them. This is for you, my love, my life, and my future.

To The Man Who Loves Me,

After all this time, I'm still in love with you and I never expected us to be where we are now. To us, two years feels like a long time, but it's a short time. The reason it feels like a long time to me, is because I know this is only the beginning. I know we have many more years together. I say it's crazy or amazing, but I'm thinking, wow, we've done so much on our journey so far and it has only been two years? Forever sounds like a long time, but I wouldn't mind spending the rest of my years by your side.

I promise to love you each and every day, including the days that don't seem like I do. I promise to remind you that I love you until it's annoying (Like every hour if need be). I promise to catch and stomp on every spider in the house if you promise to hold me tight and let me hide in your arms when we watch scary movies. I promise to go to concerts with you if you promise to go see every ridiculous move, including Marvel movies.

I can't wait for our future together, but I also want to savor all the time I have with you. All the little moments with you that make me the happiest. When I'm at school, I think about the next time I'll see you and I countdown the days until I see you again. The countdown is usually a day or two, but yes, I do it. You make me feel like a better person and I can't imagine my days without you. I will let you collect the most exquisite guitars if you let me collect exquisite cats, and maybe dogs if my crazy cat lady senses let me.

No one is perfect and I most definitely know I am not, but you are pretty flawless in my eyes and you continue to remind me that I am perfect in your eyes. The way you look at me, I know you're not lying. I will always be here. For you, for me, and for us.

"Let me hide in your arms. Be my cage, my key, my lock."

Love,

Yours Truly

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
