So far in 2016 we have gotten to see the release of some awesome new movies such as Captain America: Civil War, Deadpool and Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice. However, before the year is up, there are three more movies to come that we can all look forward to geeking out about.
Doctor Strange – Nov. 4th
Marvel has been busy rolling out as many superhero movies as they possibly could over the past few years, leading up to it’s next big hero installment, Dr. Strange. If reality bending, mind blowing weirdness is your kind of thing than Dr. Strange may be the superhero for you. Although the movie is yet to be released, we know from a series of trailers what we can expect, and that's an intense psychedelic thriller lead by Benedict Cumberbatch as Stephen Strange.
Fantastic Beast and Where to Find Them - Nov. 18th
S.E. Hinton’s new movie Fantastic Beast and Where to Find Them gained an instant following as soon as everyone heard the bells from the Harry Potter franchise at the beginning of the trailer. The better news is that recently Hinton announced that this would be the first installment of a five film Fantastic Beast series. Which no doubt, has the potential created as much of a following as its predecessor Harry Potter, in which it spun off of. Now, with it being a five movies series, we can look forward to hidden easter eggs and crossovers when the film hits theaters this November.
Star Wars: Rogue One – Dec. 16th
For any of those who have not caught a glimpse of the new Rogue One trailer yet, it will render you speechless. After Episode 7 hit theaters last year and didn’t live up to expectation, it was important for Lucasfilm to recapture our attention, which they did, in a big way. Not only was the trailer, intense and action packed, but also it drew all of our attention to one thing, Darth Vader. Vader is undoubtedly one of the most famous characters in film history, so bringing him back and throwing him in a trailer for the new movie was a no brainer, as long as he’s not as big of let down as Kylo-Ren was.
