Whether you've just pulled an all nighter and have been awake for 31 hours at this point with the only thing helping you to be driven onward is that fifth cup of coffee sitting on your desk in front of you, or you're just casually sitting through yet another boring lecture about something you couldn't care less about, or even if it's you're absolute favorite class of all time; we can all relate to the tedious act of going to class after class after class every. single. day.
The characters of 'Grey's Anatomy' understand that (mostly because you're their person and they just get you); unlike the professor standing in front of you that is somehow smiling and joyful at nine o'clock in the morning without a cup of coffee in sight (teach me your ways, please).

"Hi class! Good morning and welcome to another fun day! Hope everyone had a great weekend!"
We all have that one professor that is just so happy to be there to assist in "broadening the knowledge of young future (business) professionals" (an actual quote from one of my professors, LOL).

"Okay class, to start off we're going to go over last weeks exam. The scores could have been better, but overall they weren't too bad. Before I hand them back, just keep in mind that there is always the next exam to make up for this one."
No, really. It's okay. Not like I needed to keep that A this semester to get a good job and be successful in life or anything.

"Lecture....lecture...lecture... blah blah blah.."
"Lecture" A.K.A Daydream about the lunch you're going to get after these next 55 minutes are up. Pizza? Is that you calling my name? Oh jk it's the professor calling on me. Oops.. "uhhh.. four?"
9:35
"It's getting late into the semester, does everyone have an internship or job lined up for after this year?" *doesn't raise hand* "It's okay for those of you who don't, you can always find something different to do."
read: "if you don't get your life together you're going to flip burgers for the next twelve years."
9:50
"Lecture....lecture...lecture... blah blah blah.."
Pretend to listen.. doodle to look like you're taking notes.. chug the rest of your coffee.. stare at the clock and wonder why it feels like three hours have passed in the last 50 minutes.
9:55
"Does anyone have any questions over this lectures material?"
Read: "does anyone not know what they're doing with their lives?"
10:05
"Well that's the end of the powerpoint for chapter 9. If there are no other questions you guys are free to go a little earlier than usual. I'll see you all on Wednesday."
Queue tears of joy for those extra ten minutes of freedom then quickly escape before they can change their mind.
