"Pride and Prejudice" is one of the most highly regarded romances of our time. From its sweeping scenery and misty lands to the Victorian Era clothing, the tale manages to transport us to another story different from ours. However, this was my first time watching it and I couldn't help but have a few thoughts during the film, 42 to be exact.

1. These three make quite an entrance.

2. Did the mom really just say her daughter's best friend isn’t pretty? Well, that’s parenting for you…

3. Darcy is rude. His face does not move.

4. He looks like a way more attractive, but really sad Professor Snape.

5. Awwwww how sweet. He helped her into the carriage.

6. Collins is exhausting.

7. “Excellent boiled potatoes.”

8. All these people think about is marrying into status.

9. These girls are thirsty.

10. This Redcoat is cute.

11. Why do I feel like Wickham is actually lying?

12. Sooooo. Darcy low key or maybe high key (Sorry I had to) likes Lizzie. Like a lot.

13. Collins in creepy.

14. Darcy is that dark and mysterious boy who thinks he’s some deep starving artist type that’s angry with the world and Lizzie is having none of it.

15. He just appears out of nowhere like Edward Cullen.

16. I’m starting to understand the pride part of this film. Lizzie’s pride has been wounded by Darcy because he said once that she isn’t cute. That is prideful and petty to the max.

17. Can Darcy smile? You’d think it would hurt him inside.

18. Lizzie is the queen of sass.

19. Wait…did Darcy just say that he hopes Lizzie will get to know him in the future?

20. Oh my God. Can Collins just give it up?

21. I’ve never seen someone look so terrified of a flower. I hate this.

22. He’s her only option? How rude. She can top you, Dude.

23. Do we need to discuss consent, respect and listening, Collins? I fear you missed that lesson.

24. Everyone laughs at everything. It's actually really awkward.

25. Jane got dropped fast.

26. They sure do toss the word love around.

27. He looks at her like it hurts his heart.

28. Good God. Speak, Man. You look like you’ll swallow your tongue.

29. Charming house my butt…and he rushes out.

30. That was awkward

31. So…Darcy sabotaged Jane’s engagement.

32. Darcy looks so hurt it breaks my heart. Why you do this, Lizzie? Come here, Man, I’ll give you a hug.

33. Life just keeps bringing these two together.

34. He is insanely rich.

35. So…does the mom suffer from anxiety or is she just really dramatic…?

36. Is marrying really that big an accomplishment?

37. Mrs. Bennett is exhausting.

38. She’s realizing she loves Darcy.

39. This is such a power move, it’s not even funny. Also, if Lizzie doesn’t slap Lady Catherine, I will.

40. He walked there just like she did. Lizzie if you don’t accept this declaration…

41. Darcy deserves an Oscar. He still doesn’t smile and you know he’s over the moon.

42. Mrs. Darcy.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
