Nothing exemplifies procrastination quite as well as my “study sessions” at Middleton. For everyone’s entertainment, I decided to jot down my thoughts while studying.
1. Wow I’m so pumped to get some work done.
2. Mom is going to be proud when I come home with that 4.0.
3. Alright let’s start with chapter 1, here we go.
4. What?
5. I do not recall learning this in class.
6. Maybe I should start paying more attention.
7. I’ll start by making a Quizlet.
8. First let me check Instagram.
9. Okay time to get back to wor.k
10. I’ll go grab some coffee at CC’s to help me focus.
11. Alright time to crack down.
12. I’ve gotten ten Quizlet terms correct, I think it’s time for a break.
13. Snapchat here we come.
14. I really need to focus -- I don’t want to have to stay up all night.
15. I’ll just text my roommates real quick to see what they want for dinner.
16. Wow, I have so many texts.
17. Would right now be considered Instagram prime time? I should post a pic.
18. There, I posted it.
19. Back to chapter 1.
20. That coffee went right through me I’ll make a quick trip to the bathroom.
21. Let me check my amount of likes real quick.
22. This is embarrassing I only have one. I guess its not prime time.
23. I’ll turn off my phone and get to work.
24. I'm starving and I can't focus when I'm hungry... I'll run and get a muffin.
25. I'm full and my phone is off. Time to cram!
26. I’m tired.
27. I can probably leave and get some sleep... I’ve spent about four hours at the library so I should be good.
Test Day
28. Let me go over these terms real quick to make sure I remember them from yesterday.
29. What?
30. It’s okay, during the test I’m bound to recall the things I studied yesterday.
During the Test
31. Are these even the chapters I studied?
32. It's okay, I'll clutch this and make educated guesses.
33. Time to submit the test, I think I did pretty good.
34. Wow, this is unfortunate.
35. I studied all yesterday... I don't understand how I failed.
