You can never have too many breadsticks.

We all know that feeling, that joy that gets washed over us as we hear "want to go to the Olive Garden for dinner?"

Do not act like you have never sat there, and daydreamed about those delicious hot breadsticks, and what is, essentially, all you can eat cheese. As a matter of fact, I'm thinking about those breadsticks right this minute, and how I usually eat about ten of them before my main course even comes out.

Whether you've only visited this wonderful establishment once, or are blessed enough to frequent every Saturday night, here are some thoughts I know we have all had while dining at the Olive Garden.

*Walks through the front door*

1. "Oh my word, what is that delicious smell, and where can I get a candle that smells like it?"

Garlic, butter, and the tears of Olive Garden employees. That is what you're smelling, and you better believe you will be wearing that smell for an entire week after leaving the restaurant.

2. "I hope the hostess sits us at a booth."

I don't know about you, but every time I finish a meal at the Olive Garden-one which includes, but is not limited to- an abnormal number of breadsticks, soup & salad, and the largest plate of pasta I have ever seen, I tend to feel a tad sleepy, which is why having a booth is perfect! Dinner and a nap, what more could you want.

3. "I don't need this menu, I already know I want Alfredo."

No matter how hard we all try to order something new and branch out into the culinary web that IS the Olive Garden, more often than not, Fettuccini Alfredo is what ends up in front of us. It's familiar, it's easy to pronounce, and lets face it, it's absolutely delicious.

4. "Unlimited soup or salad... You do not have to tell me twice."

That pep talk you most likely gave yourself in the car on the way to the Olive Garden, the one about self-control, and not eating your feelings...yeah no. As soon as the server gives even the slightest mention of unlimited soup or salad, that pep talk becomes merely a memory. A memory you're most likely trying to drown via endless bowls of soup.

5. "I'd kill my family for these breadsticks."

Those delicious, fresh breadsticks, that we are all a little too familiar with, are the foundation of every spectacular Olive Garden meal. Am I right, or am I right?

6. "Will the server just keep grating that cheese forever if I don't say anything?"

If that colossal plate of pasta that was just sat in front of you isn't enough, don't forget you can make your server stand over your plate for a solid ten minutes grating a mound of fresh cheese. When I say "mound", I mean enough cheese to potentially feed an entire 3rd world nation, and then some.

7. "How am I this full already?"

You know exactly why. It was the breadsticks...

8. "I need to ask for a box so I can finish this pasta at home."

Consider yourself a super-human if you are able to leave the Olive Garden without a to-go box. The rest of us on the other hand, will end up boxing up almost the entire plate of food, and quite honestly, eating it immediately after getting home, on the floor, with no regrets.

9. "Why would I pay for dessert, when I get chocolate mints for FREE?"

Free chocolate mints at the end of my meal? You better believe I am going to be asking for some from my server, then asking for some from the hostesses, and maybe even a manager if I see one walking by. You thought you were full...guess again, there's always room for chocolate.

10. "Why is it called the Olive Garden?"

I know for a fact, everyone has asked themselves this question at least once. Why in the world is it called Olive Garden? There are no olives, anywhere. Or gardens! Instead, the restaurant should have been called "The House Of Pasta And The Cardio You Will Have To Do After Eating All Of This Food."

Whoah, out of breath after that one!

I hope you enjoyed your dining experience here at the Olive Garden, please come back and see us soon.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
