30 Thoughts I Have Walking Up Cortland's Hills

I have to walk a hill to get to class most days and I hate it, so here our some thoughts that people may have walking up a hill!

30 Thoughts I Have Walking Up Cortland's Hills

Okay, here we go, we are beginning our journey up this mountain of a hill that is going to have me out of breath by the time I make it to the top. Before I even start walking out the door to the hill, I think about how much I don’t want to walk the hill. I’m thinking about whether or not I should grab my extra deodorant and perfume so I don’t smell after I finally make it to the top. No matter how fit you are, walking up a hill is awful.

1. I need a break, I'll just stop halfway.


2. I guess I don’t have to go to the gym today.


3. I have sweat so much that I don't need to.

4. Do you think a hooverboard or segway can make it up this hill?

5. I may buy one


6. Why don’t I have a car to drive up this.


7. Maybe if I had a car I could’ve slept in a little longer, but now I need to get up early and make sure I have enough time to get to class or wherever I’m going

8. Why did I choose to get out of bed today?

9. There are different ways I could have gone.

10. One foot in front of the other.

11. Keep walking, you can do it


12. Wow I feel like Thomas the train

13. I deserve a nap or a cookie after this walk

15. PLEASE ANYBODY OFFER A RIDE

16. I really hope no one can hear my painting and see my dripping sweat.

19. If I was famous I wouldn’t have to walk this hill because I would have a driver.

20. That would be nice, how can I get famous?

22. This is going to be awful in the winter

22. I hope I don't fall and roll down the hill

23. I should’ve put my headphones on and listen to the rocky theme song.

24. I hope I don’t start singing and forget I’m in public

25. How could I forget I’m in public , I’m walking up a hill

26. I would do absolutely anything to be back in my bed

27. Keep walking, breathe, wipe the sweat off your head

28. I’m so close yet so far


29. If I call someone to get me do you think they would judge me?

  • 30.Congratulations, you made it. That only took 3 minutes.

  • We've all thought it. We look around the street and see if anyone is watching us that can judge me taking a little breather halfway up. Then there are those glorious random days that you see someone you know and you stop and talk and the first thing you want to say is thank you for walking down this hill.
