Curly hair comes in many different forms. But curly girls often have many of the same thoughts when it comes to their hair. There are good hair days and bad hair days, but you'll probably understand some of these things if you have curly hair.

1. Seeing your crazy hair in the morning when you wake up!

Frizz. Flatness. Loss of definition. Hair going every which way. The morning is not the best time to see a curly girl's hair. When we say "bed head," we really mean it. It's a hot mess!

2. "How much conditioner is too much?"

Let's be honest. A dime-sized amount is not enough for your waves or curls. You have to use enough conditioner to moisturize your hair and be able to untangle it without getting your fingers stuck. And you probably buy twice as much conditioner as you do shampoo.

3. Wondering why everyone wants to touch your hair.

Seriously why do people do this!? If you touch it there is a 1000% chance that it will get messed up. I did not spend a ton of time washing, conditioning, styling, and drying my hair for you to ruin my masterpiece.

4. When you follow the same hair routine and yet your curls come out different every time.

You could do the same washing and styling routine every day and it would come out different every time. Sometimes curls will come out defined and smooth. Sometimes they will come out loose and frizzy. Some days it's a mixture of both.

5. When people ask, "how do you get your hair curly like that?"

Well... that's how it grows. What kind of question is that?

6. People are confused after you tell them you don't brush your hair.

Brushing curly hair is quite a task. You don't want to risk any breakage and if you try to brush it- POUF!- it just ends up bring a frizzy mess. A wide-toothed comb is probably your best friend.

7. Wondering how humid it is.

The frizz struggle is real! Not only do you already feel gross and sticky on humid days, the humidity turns your curls into a huge mess.

8. Losing bobby pins in your hair.

You didn't know you were missing a bobby pin, until you hop in the shower and it falls into the tub while you're washing your hair.

9. Not having to worry about a lack of volume.

Curls have such nice, natural volume! You can just shake them up and not worry about having flat hair. But.. sometimes it can get out of control.

10. Accumulating a giant stash of hair products.

You've tried so many different hair products that they just start to pile up until it becomes a hoarder-level collection. You have shampoo, conditioner, hair masks, styling cream, gels, mousse, hair wax, detangler, hairspray, hair oil, leave-in treatment... the list goes on. And you probably have multiple of each.

11. People telling you they wish they had curly hair!

At the end of the day, no matter how much you complain, you love your curls! People always think having curly hair is easy and they often wish they had it, too! Curls of all shapes are beautiful, so be proud and rock your fabulous curls!

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
