Often times we do not know where we are headed. College is about learning and bettering ourselves often times however it leads to a question that all students have to face. What are you going to do with your degree? My personal favorite: so what are you going to do once you graduate? While some people have answers prepared and are ready to fire back as soon as the question is asked. Others often look down and silently collect themselves in a panic.
For those who are in college, we are either her because of one of two options. One it was just the next thing to do. We where expected to start college and it is something that we are then trying to figure out what we want to study and how we are going to somehow make money with it one day. Then there are those who strive for college it is their only option. The people who only have college as an option often do not do that well. They often do not do well in school. These people do things outside of school.
These people do not wonder about if they will find a job, rather they wonder when. They do not go to school because they have to they go because they want to. They would much rather learn from experience than from a textbook. These people think and feel different about school. They are not there for grades they are there for the knowledge. These people wish to get the most out of every experience and so they think differently. They work a little harder than the others do. While they may not have the grades these are the people who work jobs outside of school and still show up to class. They study as hard as they can yet they also work as hard as they possibly can.
While the other students who are in college are there because it was just the next thing today and it was expected they think differently. The ones who are there often time are there for the sure pleasure of college. They are there to have the “Experience” parting late at night, studying hard in the day. Not worrying to much about their future just knowing that they will get a degree and then start the search for a job. They are not bad people by any means they just have a different mentality about how to get through college.
In the end, those who truly want to be at college work hard. They are there for the knowledge and the experience. Not for the life experience and the book smart. Those who want to be at college have a passion that cannot be stopped they are unreasonable in their assault on laziness. These people are often not noted by the college crowd because they are not found there. They are at work. Working where ever that may be from starting their own company to working 20 hours a week while still going to school.
