As an individual, I tend to keep things to myself. I don't want to the burden of my problems on other people even if it is something that needs to expressed. It's just how I am and no I don't like it but I've done this for so long, it just doesn't feel right to change. I know that I'm not the only person who has this issue. Sometimes, it's a big thing, sometimes some. Let it be school, friendships, your past, whatever, we tend to push it back, don't let any light shine on it, and just forget about it. Someone will bring up the topic you want to forget and you make that conversation as short as possible.

Bring it to the light, You don't WANT to do that but you NEED to. You have been numb for so long that that feeling that you are getting is so uncomfortable, you want to stop it, push it back and never look at it again. Don't do that.

You will feel like the whole world is crashing down on you and it's too much to handle. This is where you are wrong. Proverbs 3:5 says "Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not rely on your own understanding." Trust Him. You can be going through absolute hell and I'm not here to tell you that you aren't but the Lord will never give you more than you can handle.

Don't want to go through these troubles alone? Isaiah 43:2, "I will be with you when you pass through the waters, and when you pass through the rivers, they will not overwhelm you." Even at your LOWEST, He is with you even if He is the ONLY ONE. Sometimes, the only person you need to be by your side is the Lord.

Still feel like you don't want to come to it all? That's fine. At first, it's okay bring it out little by little, like putting your hand in cold water, little at first and then go all the way. Little by little works at first but after a while, the little will only get small then all of a sudden, you are ignoring it again. No. When light has shed on it, jump. Do a cannonball in the freezing pool because that is the only way it's going to happen.

Don't do all of this by yourself. You'll want to because you think it's not a big thing. Someone out there wants to help you. Find someone to pour into. If you can't find a person here on earth, the Lord always has His ears open for you.

It'll take time. Nothing happens overnight. Be patient but everything will be okay soon. Pray through it and you will be fine.
