This is us (the tv show)... So Far
This is us tv poster. TV Guide's photo. Not mine.

First seasons of shows tend to be annoying. Some have only have less than ten episodes. Some have the story lines that seem way to rushed. Sometimes shows don't make it passed the first season, and are extremely lucky if they do. I''m a tv show junkie. I also typically only watch shows that are off the air. I don't always have time to watch a weekly show. I prefer to binge. I tend to watch way too many shows, so if a new show catches my eye, than that's a huge deal. This is us is an amazing show so far. There are only a total of eight episodes so far, but I'm very intrigued by the show. The premise of the show is that its a family love story being told through as span of different time periods. The family's past is being shown while they are living their present lives. I don't wanna spoil the show, but hope I encourage readers to watch the show.

Disclaimer: There should be no spoilers in this article. I don't own any of the photos or gifs. This article was written in my opinion. Some of the photos put in this article are from a site that contains spoilers about the show.

1. The show's premise is great.

The tv show's poster nuff' said.

2. The characters

The all don't fit stereotypes. The actors hold their own when bringing their character to life.

3. The writers

They are amazing, and I'm not just saying that cause they favorited a tweet that I tagged them in. They write really good episodes and make people feel things. They don't rush storylines.

4. The episodes

They are meaningful. The episodes don't send you into a confused mode because of the flashbacking and flash forwarding. They make you feel the *feels*.

5. Realness

The show is real in a sense that everyone can relate to the storylines of the characters. People can relate to family and personal issues. The family's lives aren't fixed by the end of the show.

Hopefully you feel inclined to watch this show. It'll hit you in the *feels*, but you won't regret it. the gifs below show you how you'll feel after watching the show.

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Their songs have brought me more joy, peace, and comfort. I can listen to them in any situation and find what I need. Here are the best lyrics from The Beatles for every and any occasion.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
