This Fall, I'm Wearing Denim Everything

Just call me a blue jean baby.

Denim is having a moment, again.

Around age ten, I swore off anything denim that wasn’t pants. Too many photos of blunt bangs and baby gap denim jackets haunted my childhood and left me less than willing to go anywhere near that trend.

Fast forward a little over a decade, I grew out my bangs, got smart and realized the best types of clothes are the ones you can wear 15+ times without washing.

Lucky for me, all of my favorite brands and retailers are backing my re-discovered love for denim (shout out to Nasty Gal for the After Party collection) and making it insanely easy to drain my bank account in a single online shopping cart.

I rounded a few of my favorite pieces (that aren't pants) to keep you covered in more denim than Britney and Justin at the 2001 AMA’s.

After Party by Nasty Gal Edgefield Shirt - Cropped

Because who doesn't love a good jean shirt? The answer is no one - and everyone loves a cropped jean shirt THAT much more.

Denim Bomber Jacket with Back Print - Zara

I'm all about bomber jackets right now, so you can imagine my excitement when my favorite store (zara) made my favorite type of outerwear (bomber jacket) out of my favorite material (denim). Even better, it has cute embroidery on the back. Yes, yes, and more yes.

Mini Tag Crossbody Bag - Zara

Lets be honest, if every single clothing store on the planet went out of business besides Zara, we would still be really, really well dressed. As if I didn't love this bag enough, the fact that it has an attitude similar to my own makes it so much better.

Pinstripe Denim Jumpsuit - Pixie Market

Pinstripe. Denim. Jumpsuit. Do I really have to say more? You need it, I need it, let's all just go buy it.

Mallory Skirt - Reformation

I know you want the front button down skirt that everyone has. Reformation took it to the next level. Pair it with a turtle neck like this model and you found your new fall go-to.

Lets face it, Britney and Justin knew what they were doing. I'm going to be a blue jean baby for the rest of my days.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Challah vs. Easter Bread: A Delicious Dilemma

Is there really such a difference in Challah bread or Easter Bread?

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
