Since I started writing for Odyssey, I've been getting a lot of compliments on my work. I've also had a lot of people reach out to me and tell me they're happy I'm sharing my views and telling my stories. Compliments me really uncomfortable, so I wanted to use this post to remind/inform you all about my actual, real-life personality.
I'd like you all to keep in mind that I'm not an entirely terrible person, and I think my friends would attest to that. However, I did choose screenshots/Snapchats/etc. that showcase the particularly crappy things I do. These pictures have not been doctored (other than to cover my friends' pictures). All of these things actually happened, and I am actually like this.
1. I'm very direct. If I have something to say or ask you, I don't beat around the bush.
2. In fact, I'm so great at communicating that I don't even know what "passive aggressive" means.
3. I am self-sufficient and never, ever needy.
4. EVER.
5. I am excellent at texting. For one, I never go off on tangents (and if I do, it's about something reasonable).
7. When my friends think of me, they think, "hip."
8. Of course, they think that because I have the arthritic hips of an 80-year-old woman. This is only fitting, as my personality is also that age.
9. Speaking of my personality, it's great. I consider myself to be encouraging, optimistic, and an inspiration to everyone around me.
10. People especially admire my sense of forgiveness.
11. I am hilarious. You will never get sick of my prime sense of humor, trust me.
12. And I'm just super fun to be around in general. My body doesn't impact my social life at all.

13. Oh, yeah, and I'll never let you forget my body or its needs. That coffee from #1? I needed it for my migraine! My subtle refrigerator magnet threat? My roommate woke me up! I have a heart condition!!! (Again, I'd just like to remind you all that I'm not actually terrible. Always.)
