Chicago is a city that only a few of us are fortunate enough to call home. We may not realize it now, but once you leave there are a few things that you'll miss forever.
1. Portillos.
Although you can get a cheeseburger, fries, and shakes from just about anywhere, it's never as good as one from Portillo's.
2. Water.
You never truly appreciate how good the water filtration system in Chicago is until you move to a new place and are disgusted by the taste of their water.
3. Pizza.
Whether you prefer deep dish from Gino's East or Giordano's, or just regular pizza from Begger's or Nonna's, no other pizza compares to Chicago pizza.
4. Sports.
How can you not love Chicago Sports?Although are football team may not be doing so great, we still have The Cubs and The Blackhawks to fall back on. Plus the rivalry between white sox fans and cubs fans is always a good one.
5. The view.
Nothing can compare to Chicago's skyline.
6. There's always something to do.
You can go to the beach, drive down Lake Shire drive, go to Millennium Park, or visit Navy Pier.
7. The winter.
Although most of us dread this time of year. We have to admit, how beautiful the city looks covered in snow.
