New Jersey's got a pretty bad reputation thanks to 'Jersey Shore', but it's really not all that bad. Sure, our drivers are horrible and some of us have a horrible attitude, but we mean well. Here is a list of good and bad things you'd only see in the beautiful garden state that is New Jersey.

Horrible drivers

Tailgating, no blinkers, and going 20 miles over the speed limit. New Jersey drivers are really good at breaking every law when it comes to driving.

A Wawa (or two) in every town

New Jerseyans really like their coffee and sandwiches, and Wawa has all that and more.

An extremely diverse population

Youtube

We are the country's fourth most diverse state and keep in mind, we're tiny. New Jersey has a growing Asian and Hispanic population and is home to one of the most diverse universities in America- Rutgers University.

Gas Attendants

Youtube

Yup, we're only one of two states in America that have to pump their own gas. In fact, it's illegal for us to pump our own gas here.

Six Flags

There are only 16 Six Flags parks in America, and we've got one of them. Jerseyans generally goes to Six Flags in the summer, get a season pass, and then devour the park food and regret it the next day.

A New Diner Every 2 Miles

Youtube

Besides IHOP and Denny's, New Jersey has numerous unique diners that offer some of the best food you will ever consume.

Deer...everywhere

The Garden state is overrun with deer (and squirrels). The Garden States provides the perfect environment for deer to increase their population, and this becomes a problem when they start showing up on the highway.
