It's that time of year again. The air gets colder and the days get shorter, but that shouldn't stop you and your S.O. from enjoying yourselves. Here are 11 dates to go on this year to make the season a little brighter.
1. Ice skating
Time to bundle up and lace up those old skates. Even if neither one of you can skate it will be a fun opportunity and bonding experience for the both of you. ( plus think of the cute picture ops)
2. Building a gingerbread house
Gingerbread house kits are all over the shelves in your local store, pick one up and let the fun begin. Even the least artistic couple can have a little fun creating a house that is all their own.
3. Christmas lights
Don't have much money to spend, because of all the gifts you bought one another? (; All this one requires is both of you to hop in a vehicle and take a look around for some Christmas lights! ( and a little bit of gas)
4. Christmas tree farm
What is Christmas without a Christmas tree? Sadness.
5. Decorate for Christmas
Well, now that you've got the Christmas tree, you can both decorate it. Turn on some holiday tunes and let the tinsel fly!
6. Hot chocolate and a movie
Who says all dates require having to go out? Stay in and make yourselves a hot cup of hot chocolate and watch some Christmas movies.
7. Christmas shopping
I'm sure you both have some Christmas shopping to do, why not do it together?
8. Making ugly Christmas sweaters
Grab all the art supplies you can carry and have at it. During this time of year there has to be at least one party to go to and typically the ugliest sweater wins.
9. Build a snowman
This obviously won't work for everyone since it doesn't snow everywhere, but for where it does snow.
10. Baking/decorating cookies
They might not turn out as the perfect "instagrammable" cookies, but you'll have fun and improve your baking skills.
11. Spending time with family and friends
While you should spend time together this is the perfect time of year to get to know each others family and friends. Stay involved with activities going on within your family and get a group of friends together for a holiday party.
