Fun campus traditions (including receiving a tech bible and a WPI beanie when you cross the bridge with your class and officially becoming a freshmen, walking the same bridge the opposite way with your class when you head to graduate, and avoiding the seal in the Quad and running like heck to the Gompei statue in order to graduate on time).

30.) Running through the fountain on the center of Institute Road.
31.) Beating MIT at football.
32.) The freshmen-sophomore rivalry, in which freshmen usually succeed in taking the goat's head trophy from the sophomores. (Fun fact, there was an original stuffed goat's head that was stolen from the graduating class of 1893, and hidden in Nova Scotia until it was returned by the graduating class of 1894 at the Class of 1983's 20th anniversary)
33.) Never learning anything about SKULL, a secret honors society on campus. We only know that it exists and nothing more.
34.) Never getting off the Ultimate Frisbee email alias.
35.) Making sure everyone knows when and where there's free food (which has included a midnight run for free funnel cakes).
36.) Studying abroad! WPI has a top ranked program for studying abroad!
37.) Learning about humanities and STEM in one nifty environment!
38.) Getting involved off and on campus!
39.) Starting a cheese business known as "Gompei's Goat Cheese".
40.) Making memes.
41.) Organizing school events every weekend, including showings of movies.
42.) Organizing a completely student-run pep band.
43.) Running a very active Student Alumni Society, which organizes events such as Gompei's Birthday and the release of goats on campus for Founder's Day.
44.) Using a classroom as a practice room in Alden.
45.) Having a fun rivalry with RPI.
46.) Trying to find a good desktop computer when it comes time for course registration.
47.) Declaring a major by the end of their first semester at WPI.
48.) Robotics! WPI is well known for its prestigious robotics program, and many take advantage of it.
49.) Encouraging a philosophy of seeking help when needed and putting your mental health first.
50.) Contributing to the wonderful atmosphere that is the WPI campus.
Needless to say, I am proud to be a WPI goat and can't wait to see what the school has in store during the next four years!
