Moving out is an inevitable step that a person faces when going into the real world. This is the time when you have decided not to depend on your parents and deal with the daily matters yourself. Lots of people think that they can grow up fast by taking on the process of moving out rapidly. Therefore, the person did not expect the problems that will emerge from moving out.

However, you can prevent being caught off guard when these problems come by considering the following factors.

1. Timing

Some people decide to move out after graduation and think that they are prepared to go out in the real world. One should ask him or herself these questions:

2. Preparedness

Many people didn’t give themselves time to think about the problematic side of moving out and face it head on. However, in order to overcome the problems of moving out, think about these questions: What are some skills you have? Do you have a job that guarantees a stable income? Do you need to find a job? I recommend some jobs that you can find in a local area, or preferably in a big company. I wouldn’t recommend jobs that have variable incomes. With a job, it helps determine the acceptability to moving out especially if you want to convince your parents. Part-time jobs are not bad, but you should find a full-time job. This full time job will help you a lot!

3. Advice

If you are planning on moving out, you should ask people who have experience when it comes to moving out like, parents, friends, etc. This way, you can have an idea and then there will be no things to surprise you when moving out such as the most annoying things like rent, taxes, and bills. They will also advise you that these financial problems should not be taken lightly.

4. Permission

Do not just move out right away and not tell anyone. If you do that, you will have no idea how many people will be shocked or be affected. Many people will dislike you for doing this, especially family members. Please take your time talking to your parents about it. Your parents should be the ones to have the last say. In other words, they are the ones who determine whether you are ready to move out. If they say no, even if you have explained how prepared you are, you should listen to them and not move out yet. Or you can prove to them when you are with parents that you are!

5. Finances

This is the most troubling aspect. Finding a stable job will help cover this situation. You must then consider, not just the taxes, bills, and rent, but also how much it costs for your food or groceries, clothes, and etc. Also, discuss with your parents about insurance. If one cannot cover all this, you will wish that you have never moved out.

6. Moving out alone?

Many people usually move out alone, which concerns lots of parents. However, if you decide to move out with friends, parents will most likely agree and give best wishes to your teamwork. Friends will help contribute to financial income and work out any problems. Two heads are better than one! On the other hand, if you decide on moving out with a boyfriend or girlfriend, you should think about your relationship and how well you guys have worked together through the good and bad times. If you have a lot of arguments or disagreements when together, you should distance yourselves from one another. This way, they can independently become the best independent person they can be. You can wait a few years. Take your time, but when you think you are finally prepared and solved every problem when out in the real world, go ahead and ask your girlfriend/boyfriend to move in together! Of course, with your parents’ permission!

Is this the best time to move out? What will happen if you move out now? At this time, what experience do you have, going out in the real world?

Please take these into consideration and take your time in planning to move out!

I have learned from others, who have planned to move out, need to consider them and take their time preparing to the outside world. People are more successful moving out when they have thought of these factors and have an action plan.

Don’t be the fools who fly out without testing their wings!

Good luck!

StableDiffusion

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
