Making plans with friends is hard, whether it's simply about where to eat, or, more importantly, how you're going to spend your day. Unless you have an extremely decisive person in your friend group (not afraid to make executive decisions, regardless of everyone's opinions--these people are hard to come by), you likely end up going back and forth with each other about every aspect of your day.
You are so happy to be hanging out with your friends...but now comes the time to decide what you will be doing, and that can be quite a long process.
You start by basically doing this...
"What do you want to do today?"
"I don't know. What do you wanna do?"

And then, like most people, you think to yourself, "Ehh, I could probably go for some food right now." Whether you're doing it in person or via text, the conversation goes something like this.
You finally choose a place to eat...but then you spend about 20 minutes going over the menu. None of you can decide on what to eat, because it all sounds too good.
If you ever decide that you want to watch a movie (or just something on Netflix), that also takes forever. You say that you want to watch something you've never seen before, but after scrolling for a legit 45 minutes, you give up and watch the one TV show you all never get tired of. There's just too many choices, so someone has to make the executive decision to watch something you already know is good.

It's a miracle if you can ever make plans and stick to them, because you're all constantly changing your minds.
You're always second guessing yourselves once you do make a decision.
Everyone is too scared to step up and make choices for the rest of you that are too indecisive to do it.
