We All Take Them, But Who Survives Them?
1. You invite literally EVERYONE but half leave two days into it.
Now I know that sometimes family can be a little overbearing at times, but suffering because of the heat can only lead to some dripping consequences.
2. When you have a valid drivers license, anything is possible.
Two Words: GOLF CART. Aka, taking nightly cruises with your dog and boyfriend around the community because you want to get away from your mother.
3. When you bring your boyfriend on your first family vacation together and you happen to share a room.
My parents gave us separate beds ya'll, but I think this happened to work out more in the dogs favor then ours.
4. When you bring the dogs on vacation and they take it over.
Now we have a great family over here, but I think the dogs run the show here wherever we bring them.
5. Driving Around the Island jamming to your favorite music
6. Exploring the world above
Cape Lookout was something else, but whether you are in the mountains or the beach, there is always something to appreciate.
7. When you are 20-years-old but are still at the kids table.
We try and be together but the "real" adults don't have any manners ;)
8. When the adults go to bed, we were already getting started.
We just wanted to play a nice game of Cards Against Humanity but I guess that sleeping all day and sitting outside for an hour really got to them.
9. Fun adventures with your significant other
We always have a lot of fun exploring new places, especially ones high up.
10. Creating memories with the people that mean the most to you.
Even though they can be annoying, sleepy, suffering, overheating and a bit crazy, they are still my family and these are the memories that you will want to remember.
