Thank you. Those words feel so – well – insufficient for all that you’ve done for me. You are MY person. (Meredith and Cristina have nothing on us, sister.) Everything I am and aspire to be is because I have seen the person you are.

Thank you for my being sister and my world. I want to thank you for:
- For being my shoulder to cry on, and for driving home to be with me when my heart was shattered
- For being my television partner and loving all the same shows I do
- For being the same size as me so I can force you to buy Free People clothes so I don’t have to
- For actually buying them
- For always wanting to order takeout and watch endless episodes of "GOT" with me
- For being my nurse
- And for letting me call you in tears after I’ve incorrectly diagnosed myself on WebMD
- For always having a glass of wine poured for me when I walk in the door
- For being the most generous person I’ve ever met, and having the purest heart of gold
- For being adventurous and carefree, yet so structured and dedicated to your work, your family and your friends (and reminding me to be somewhat adventurous and somewhat carefree)
- For being my designated chauffeur and certified babysitter until I was old enough
- For being my second mom and reminding me always to do my homework/eat healthy
- For having cookie dough in the fridge
- For eating cookie dough with me
- For being my workout partner after one too many bowls of cookie dough the night before
- For being the one person I can always count on
- For always answering my phone call (even if I have to call 56 times)
- For showing me Torchy’s Tacos and always letting me talk you into queso at 9 PM
- For talking me into queso at 9 PM
- For having the most contagious laugh and making me believe I’m funny (because we all know I’m not)
- For protecting me from boys when I was young
- And for protecting me now
- For loving me unconditionally

Thank you for everything, but especially for being my soulmate and my forever best friend.
