5 Things That Are Only Acceptable in December
We Know Your Dreams

As Christmas approaches, excitement is growing. Everyone is in the cheerful mood, wanting to spread as much Christmas mood as they can. This all merry and bright, but sometimes things are a bit drawn out. Here is what is only acceptable to do in the month of December.

1. Sing Christmas Carols

The entire month of December is reserved solely for the singing of Christmas carols. Don't over do it.

2. Wear Christmas Sweaters

While Christmas sweaters, ugly or not, are festive and entertaining, please save them for the 31 days of December.

3.Eat and Bake a Ton of Cookies

While cookies are delicious and fun to make, there is a limit to how many you should eat and make at a time. December is the exception to this. It is perfectly acceptable to eat them, if they are Christmas cookies, right? Who doesn't love Grandma's secret recipe?

4. Decorations

Christmas decorations are a fun addition to the holiday season. However, lights should have their time to shine in the month of December only. No one wants to be the neighbor with their lights still up in February.

5. Endless Shopping

While shopping is fun, the amount of shopping at Christmas time should be left in December. Let's face it, if we shopped like we do in December every month, we would never have any money.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
