Hello, it's me. Yes, I am writing this letter to you because you deserve to hear these things. These are things you don't tell yourself enough and are things you need to hear more often. These are things that you should believe, but you don't. These are things I wish you would have known, and everything in between. This is an open letter to you.
You are an intelligent human being. Better yet, you are an intelligent, bright woman. You are a leader in several organizations, yet still manage to get good grades. You commit yourself to as much as possible, even when you probably shouldn't. You are an individual incapable of telling people no who hates to disappoint people. You are a people pleaser, but that's not completely bad! That means you're compassionate, caring, and love to help people. It means that you are seasoned when it comes to scheduling, planning, and organizing. That's who you are. You need to be more confident in your abilities. You are capable of more than you think. You are going to do wonders. You are going to move mountains. Believe it. You're 20, almost 21 years old, and you're killing it. You might not think it, but you are. Life is good. Life is beautiful, so live it. Don't miss out on opportunities. Live in the moment, be where you are. Never take anything for granted.
You are beautiful. Just the way you are. You don't need to change one bit. No matter what anyone might tell you or think, you are absolutely perfect the way you are. Your beauty is much, much deeper than your skin. You are a kind, caring, loyal, and genuine person. You are fabulous, flawless, and fearless. You are talented, motivated, and driven. You go after what you want, and never give up. Your passion to help others is amazing. You make the best chocolate chip oatmeal cookies, and your cinnamon crumb cake is to die for. Your fashion sense is all over the place and sometimes doesn't make sense, but you rock it anyway. You worry about the littlest things that you don't need to, but that just makes you who you are. You're a music, HGTV, and coffee junkie -- and that's awesome. You fangirl over seriously old country music which can be considered weird at your age, but who the hell cares? You're perfect just the way you are.
Just be yourself. You are an amazing human being. You're going to change the world, whether you know it or not.
