Don't you miss being a kid sometimes? When responsibilities wasn't a thing yet and all you had mainly a carefree time? Well, I do, and these are some of the things that I miss doing as a child.

1. Recess

Remember when actually going outside and playing with your friends used to be a thing? I miss recess; the only time you can hang with your friends without teachers bugging you. The only class period that I actually like and will participate in. I could get a 101% grade in recess, that's how much I love it

2. Free Halloween candy

Back when Halloween was the best holiday because you would be eating free candies for days.

3. Reading picture books

Now we just read costly books with words and no pictures aka textbooks. Do you miss reading books with actual nice illustrations?

4. Eating all the junk food in your sight

No one is going to judge you for eating all the junk food because you don't need to watch your weight.

5. Getting excited about Christmas shopping

When I was a kid and Christmas came around the corner, all I could think about is all the new toys I was able to get and play with for the upcoming new year.

6. Sleeping more than 6 hours

College is pretty much a contract we signed that said we aren't allowed to sleep for more than 6 hours a day. It was so much easier back in the days when sleeping for more than 8 hours was a thing.

7. The playground

I miss the monkey bars and the swirly slides without having to pay for admission fee at the door.

8. Hide and seek

Remember when hide and seek used to be the game you would play with your friends in your house? Well, I'm sure you miss that as much as I do. When you find and scheme your ultimate hiding spot, hoping you're the last one to be found.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
