At Longwood University, there is a strong sense of community among students. We all have relatable situations, lifestyles, and experiences on and off of campus. If you're a Longwood University student, you've probably said everything on this list at some point in your journey:

1. "I'll meet you at Ruffner fountain before class."

2. "Did you step on the crowns for good luck?"

3. "El patron or La Parota?"

4. "What'd you get at D-hall for lunch? Fries."

5. "Did the construction wake you up this morning?"

6. "Our football team is undefeated."

7. "We're the real LU."

8. "How many bonus dollars do you have left?"

9. "Need to do laundry. Zero Lancer Cash."

10. "Bookstore? Thank god for Pairets."

11. "I need a latte from Java City."

12. "I'll meet you in the lib."

13. "Living in Curry and Fraizer is a rite of passage."

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
