When going through life, you always come across tons of different types of people. You have your clingers, independents, and people who just go along with whoever comes alongside them. If you just so happen to be the independent type, chances are you can relate to the nine things below:
1. You take action first then go for feedback. Most of the time we independent people tend to just take a leap of faith and do what our mind is set to and then go to the person we confide in and get feedback.
2. Sometimes advice can be hard to take. In life, things just come up where you have to confide in someone else, but independent hearts can have such a hard time taking these words to heartand mind. When an independent mind is set, it is difficult to change their way.
3. High self-motivation. They are willing to step out on their own and get stuff done. They don’t need anyone’s help and can get the job done quickly.
4. When your mind is set on something, it is going to happen. Independent people are capable of figuring out how to get what they need done and nothing gets in their way.
5. Relationships are hard to come by. As you can guess, its hard for an independent person to find someone to be understanding of their ways. But on the other hand, the person has to be willing to give some and let their other half do stuff for them.
6. Going to the grocery store, shopping, eating, car wash, etc. is no big deal at all. People in today’s society hate the idea of doing things alone, especially girls. But, why? Being the only one going to do something is so much easier, and it takes half the time to get the task done when you’re alone.
7. You can always relate to the quote, “If you want things done right, you just need to do it yourself.” Could that be anymore true? That quote is what an independent person lives by. It is so much easier to get a project done when you can just do it yourself.
8. You’re not afraid to speak your mind. You always catch yourself just speaking your mind; why hold back?
9. Sometimes you just need to be alone. And that is totally okay. You're so used to doing stuff on your own that being around a huge group can be overwhelming. This can be hard for your friends to understand. Just work with them, and they will come around and find understanding.
No matter what type of person you are, everything about you makes you who you are. Being alone may sound like a bad thing to some people, but being an independent person out on your own can also be exciting and rewarding.
