Eight Things Your Hotel Housekeeper Would Like You To Know

Tipping isn't required, but it is HIGHLY suggested

Why wouldn't you tip your housekeeper?

If you do tip, leave it on the sleep card or with a note or in the envelope.

If you are staying multiple nights and tip on the refresh, do this otherwise we cannot take the money!

So you like when the housekeeper comes and makes your bed and tidies up after you on an extended stay? Please don't leave a bunch of crap on the bed!

We have to take it ALL off and find a spot to set it then make the bed then rearrange it back on your nicely made bed.

If you do have an accident (blood, pee, vomit etc.) PLEASE FOR THE LOVE OF GOD notify the front desk

It's nothing to be ashamed of it happens to everyone. However, housekeepers hate the surprise of folding back the covers and finding a bed full of period blood.

We do a silent thank you to everyone who attempts to make our job easier for making the bed

It may not seem like much, but when you stop us and tell us we are going a good job it means a lot


I promise you don't need EVERY SINGLE little soap that we offer

Enjoy your stay, but not so much that you break or otherwise ruin stuff from your room or the hotel
