Summer is finally here and now that I have settled into being back at home, I think I am ready to head back to school. Don't get me wrong, I love being home and spending time with my family, but there are a few things that I do miss about being at college. Here are 5 things I miss about college while I am at home:
My friends.
It is hard coming back home and being away from those that you have grown so close to. I miss the late nights spent with them, the laughs we share, and talks about life. I miss our random car rides and jam sessions, but most of all, I miss them.
Chick-fil-A.
I miss being able to hop in my car and drive three minutes up the road to Chick-fil-A. My bank account is thankful that I cannot do this for the next three months, but I however, am not.
My apartment.
I miss my apartment at school. It felt so much like home and it was pretty darn cute too.
My schoolwork (to a certain extent).
I am thankful to finally have a break from all of the work the school year brings, but a part of me misses it just a little. I miss having a steady schedule and being busy throughout the day.
My college's campus.
I miss walking down campus and seeing so many familiar faces. I miss sitting and having lunch at the picnic tables with friends admiring our beautiful campus.
Don't take your time spent away at school for granted because before you know it, it will be over. Enjoy your time at home, but enjoy your time at school as well!
