Do you ever have that feeling that you're suddenly thrown back into a different time and place? To be more specific, are you ever at work and hear or see or smell something that instantly makes you feel like a kid again? Yeah, me too, and after it's over your either left feeling sad or glowing with nostalgia. Here are 10 things I've noticed make me feel like a little kid again.

1. Watching the Shrek movies


2. The smell of amoxicillin.

I know, weird right? I work in a pharmacy and smell this bubble gum flavored medicine at least once a day, and it's always instant nostalgia.


3. Hearing a Backstreet Boys song.


4. Reading Percy Jackson.


5. Reading Harry Potter, for that matter.


6. Eating Honey Combs cereal.


7. Hearing the Scooby Doo theme song.


8. Finding a Baby Bottle Pop or a Wonderball.


9. The smell of Fruit Roll-ups and Gushers.


10. Watching the Fresh Prince of Bel Air.
