With the holidays being here, it's time to start thinking about what we are grateful for this year, and for all of us going through college right now, the list is endless. There is so much more than just family and friends, especially when your life revolves around living alone and being on a budget.

1. The Bell Curve

Nothing makes a person feel more thankful thank when they think they failed an exam and then their professor pulls out a 10 point curve.

2. Spotify/Hulu Collaboration

Five dollars a month student price for both Spotify Premium and Hulu? Nothing is better for broke college students.

3. Online Classes

The only place 8 a.m. classes don't exist.

4. Family Time

After a hard semester, time with family is wonderful de-stresser.

5. Lab Partners

Nobody else knows how to help carry the weight of labs like your lab partner. You ride together, you die together.

6. Dessert

Nothing makes you feel as good as cake does.

7. Spell and Grammar Check

The difference between an A and an A-.

8. Coffee

Keeping us awake since the first day of classes freshman year.

9. Sweater Weather

Keeping you warm and cozy during the roughest lectures.

10. Dropped Quiz Grades

Mom never has to know about that 2/10 you got while you were hungover.

11. Black Friday Sales

Bless the discounts that finally let us go shopping for the first time since the school year started.

12. Pocket Points

Keeping students focused in class and fed at a discount.

13. Christmas Music

It's the most wonderful time of the year, what isn't to be thankful for about it?

14. Chegg

11:57 pm and the only friend willing t to help you out. Every time.

15. Good Friendships

The people who have never left our sides even when they've seen us at our worst. They're there for us through thick and thin, and couldn't get through a semester without them.

16. Meal Points

Helping buy coffee, cheese fries, ice cream, and candy.

17. Facilitated Career Development

People who help students with their futures without getting frustrated are the true heroes. And when the students get internships and jobs, it makes the holidays even better.

18. Pajamas

You can wear them to class, bed, dinner, on the bus, grocery shopping; the options are limitless!

19. Partial Credit

The only thing saving your GPA.

20. Dunkin' Donuts Promos

Sorry Starbucks, but your prices hurt.

21. Free Food

Let me repeat that, FREE FOOD.

22. Recorded Lectures

Anytime not having to show up for class is a good time.

23. Cancelled Classes

AKA being given more time to study for that exam on Friday.

24. Dry Shampoo

The savior on the days there's no time to wash your hair (or shower).

25. Student Discounts

The more discounts, the more food, which means more to be thankful for!

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
