Fans
Most dorm rooms in college don’t have A/C in them. Though half the year you don’t need A/C due to the winter season. When summer comes, the heat gets trapped in the small room. Without a fan or two you won’t want to stay in that 90-degree room any more then you must.
Small sewing kit
With only the knowledge of a simple stitch you can fix any hole you get in your clothes. From messing up laundry to doing something stupid at a party, you can get a whole in your clothing by anything. By sewing it yourself you can save money by making it last longer.
Reusable water bottle
Most colleges have places where you can refill reusable water bottles. It’s not only beneficial for the environment but you don’t have to go buying water cases all the time. Also, you can fill them up with other drinks from the café without spending money.
External battery
Though most of the time you have access to an outlet. When you go out it is essential to have a battery charge to be safe. With a previously charged external battery, you are able to charge your phone anywhere. Keeping you safe anywhere you are.
Sports Equipment
During the hot months students flock to the large lawns of campus. You can lay and get a tan while you do homework or you can play a game of catch with your friends. No matter if you have a frisbee or a football you can get some exercise and spend a nice day with your friends outside instead of in your rooms.
Sunscreen
Speaking of going outside on the lawn to work. Without your mom reminding you every hour, you can spend hours outside doing whatever and forgetting about your skin burning. Though you may only use it a few times, bringing a small sunscreen can save your skin and you from a lot of pain.
Umbrella
Surprisingly on campus it rains no matter the season. Depending on the person, they may not want just a hoodie to cover their head during a rain storm. A cheap, portable umbrella is just fine for the job since, all you have to do is get from your room to class.
