As college students (and really any human being with half a brain), the weekend is what we live for. We push through work, school and other responsibilities to finally make it to the light at the end of the tunnel. While our Friday and Saturday nights are nothing compared to an Italian getaway with our best friends and the chance to become an international superstar, nights turned to mornings at the bars can also be what dreams are made of.
Leaving your last class on Friday, knowing you can forget about all of your schoolwork and responsibilities until Sunday evening.
Trying to figure out which outfit you're going to dazzle everyone in and realizing you have nothing cute.
Taking pictures with your best friends and realizing you guys look great (although you know full well your hair will be tied back and your makeup will be smeared within the hour).
Pre-gaming with your friends while vowing that you aren't going to drink too much.
Heading to the party in the freezing cold weather, because nothing can separate you and a good time.
Walking into the party and seeing the one girl on campus that you can't stand.
Hitting it off with a cute guy, but your best friend tells you that he is nothing but trouble.
Leaving the party and heading to the bars with a thousand of your closest friends.
Finally stumbling into the bars and dancing like nobody's watching.
Trying to find any way to turn down that creepy guy who keeps asking you to dance.
Drunkenly attempting to figure out the prices of drinks at the bar.
Deciding whether or not you're going to get a pizza on the walk home.
Finally making it into your bed, best friend (or Lord knows who), trashcan, and water bottle in tow.
Wondering what happened the night before and why you feel so sick.
Crawling out of bed at 3 p.m., grabbing some food, and deciding with your best friends you're gonna do it all again tonight.
