22-years-old YouTube star Logan Paul recently posted a video of a dead man hanging from a tree in the Japanese suicide forest, Aokigahara. Logan Paul was vlogging about camping with his videographer Brendan, Andy, and Andy's girlfriend. They planned on staying overnight at Aokigahara, a forest in Japan where hundreds of people die due to suicide. Logan Paul thought it was good content to vlog at a suicide forest and potentially hear some paranormal activity in the night.

While looking for a place to set up their tents, Logan Paul spotted something, a dead man. Logan and his videographer Brendan got closer and took video of the dead body. The face was blurred but Logan showed the man's purple hands that suggested the man had committed the act shortly before Logan found him. Logan Paul immediately freaked out at the situation and even slightly laughed. The laugh is up for interpretation. It could have easily been nervous laughter or just amazement of how he just witnessed such a thing. After this, Logan Paul called his security guard to make sure the police knew about the situation. The ambulance came and took away the dead man.

After watching the video, I did not know how to feel. I felt a surge of mixed emotions. A day later, I am scrolling on twitter only to find thousands of tweets about the whole Logan Paul and the Japanese forest situation. I went back to rewatch the video but sure enough, the video was deleted. Logan Paul also wrote an apology that he tweeted. However, the apology seemed to only protect Logan's reputation. Logan then posted a short video apologizing for the whole situation.

Logan Paul is always looking for new content to post, however, it is very inhumane of him to post a video of a dead man. That man had a family. Logan Paul clearly made a terrible mistake. This video just shows that with great power comes great responsibility. In other words, Logan Paul has a huge platform with millions of followers that he can use for good instead of evil.
