The true evils of Planned Parenthood are now coming to light

Planned Slaughter

Top officials of Planned Parenthood have been caught on tape by the Center for Medical Progress discussing the sales of body parts of aborted babies.

The first of the two released videos features Dr. Deborah Nucatola, Planned Parenthood Federation of America's senior director of medical services, casually eating a salad as she discusses with undercover investigator her organization's diabolic efforts to deliver intact limbs and organs. She goes on to explain how they preserve certain organs and limbs by aborting the babies in a certain way.

"We've been very good at getting heart, lung, liver, because we know that, so I'm not gonna crush that part, I'm gonna basically crush below, I'm gonna crush above, and I'm gonna see if I can get it all intact." She continues, "I'd say a lot of people want liver. And for that reason, most providers will do this case under ultrasound guidance, so they'll know where they're putting their forceps."

This is absolutely sickening. I'm confused as to how this can't make anyone feel even a little bit disgusted or concerned. However, this is not all. There was a second video released, featuring Dr. Mary Gatter, a doctor at Planned Parenthood and the president of the organization's medical doctors' council, also talking with undercover investigators and ball-parking prices for these aborted babies. She even goes on to make a joke amidst this horrifying discussion.

"Let me just figure out what others are getting, and if this is in the ballpark, then it's fine, if it's still low then we can bump it up. I want a Lamborghini."

How can someone be so casual and lighthearted about killing and selling baby body parts? But, these two women are not alone. There is more to come. The Center for Medical Progress has mentioned that they have about a dozen more similar videos that will soon surface.

As a human being, this type of activity irks me to the core. Pro-lifers are constantly told by Pro-choicers that people are aborting clumps of cells, not human beings. How exactly do these clumps of cells have limbs and organs that are worth money? Could it be because they are actually human beings? Now, that would really put a damper on that argument against pro-life, wouldn't it?

It's heart-wrenching to see that innocent life is not protected as it should be in this country. Unborn babies are not considered human enough to be protected under federal law from being killed by abortion; yet, it's precisely because of their humanity they are so valuable for research. This only further proves that Planned Parenthood is an evil institution that has no regard for innocent life. Furthermore, they take advantage of women who are left to feel helpless and have no other choice.

If Planned Parenthood really believed in choice and empowering women, they would make a serious effort to help women explore all of their options before going through with an abortion. Unfortunately, they make no such effort. Rather, they hand out 1 adoption referral per 149 abortions. Nucatola was even caught on camera complaining about the inconvenience of counseling women. In reference to obtaining consent and walking women through their options she states. "That's probably the biggest inconvenience, ugh, that's one more thing my staff has to talk about. They only have so many minutes to talk to the patient."

Such an inconvenience, right? Wouldn't it be so much better if you could just rush women in and out and profit off their abortions? This is what evil looks like. Nucatola proves to have no respect or concern for these women who are undoubtedly frightened by their situations.

Planned Parenthood likes to put up a front and make people think that their main function is to educate, hand out condoms, and other great things. But, make no mistake about it: they are an abortion industry. They generate more revenue from abortion than any other service they offer, accounting for about one-third of their total revenue. And it is continually increasing every year as they now perform over 300,000 abortions per year. What's worse is that this is all being subsidized by taxpayers' money -- specifically, half a billion dollars each year.

This funding needs to be abolished immediately. No way should taxpayers' money be going to this phony group that prevents, not plans, parenthood. They are criminals who repeatedly break the law and sell dead babies.

If the Left can force businesses to go under or have their owners sanctioned for saying something they don't disagree with, there needs a be a greater effort to, at the very least, pull the funding from Planned Parenthood. With our economy becoming increasingly unstable, do you think people really want their money to go to a place like this? The answer should be obvious.

While the media continues to give very little light to this situation, we must remain aware and fight for this. This is evil. This is happening in our country. And we are letting it happen with our financial support.

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Their songs have brought me more joy, peace, and comfort. I can listen to them in any situation and find what I need. Here are the best lyrics from The Beatles for every and any occasion.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
