The Top 7 Shows To Binge Watch On Netflix
Netflix

Maybe you're in between seasons of your favorite show or maybe you're waiting for the eight-years-later revival ("Gilmore Girls" fans, I'm looking at you!) So now what? Everyone knows that Netflix is the key to procrastination and procrastination is the key to college. Call up your best cuddle buddy (I actually mean cuddle, these shows are too good to "chill" during), get your favorite junk food, and check out the top shows to binge watch:

1. "Fuller House"

If you're like me and were the biggest fan of the original show "Full House," you watched the first season of this spin-off the day it came out. If not, get to it! "Fuller House" brings the best '90s references, new love, plus puppies AND babies. Plus, John. Stamos. I think I've said enough. Bonus: They've been cleared for a second season! Binge away!

2. "How I Met Your Mother"

A four-time Emmy winner, HIMYM brings the story of friendship and love while Ted Mosby (played by the awkwardly cute Josh Radnor) tells his kids all about, well you guessed it, how he met their mother. The show brings equal amounts of laughter and tears with other co-stars Jason Segel, Alyson Hannigan and the always hilarious Neil Patrick Harris. Just don't come after me if you hate the writers for that final season - I warned you!

3. "Gilmore Girls"

Everyone wants a relationship with their mom like Rory has with Lorelai. Everyone also wants one of the many men that both women date throughout the series (#TeamLuke and #TeamJess, to be clear). Whether you've watched the series three times or have been too intimidated by the fast talking to watch it all, now is the time to drink a lot of coffee and re-live life in Stars Hollow before the revival comes out later this year. Rumor has it even the Gilmore's dog, Paul Lanka, has re-signed a contract.

4. "Jane The Virgin"

Wait, she's a virgin with a baby? But the baby wasn't adopted? I know, you're so confused right now. Meaning you should go watch this hilarious comedy featuring some Latina babes, some steamy love triangles and like, Fuller House, an adorable baby. You're missing out, go now!

5. "New Girl"

Jessica Day makes us all wish we could live in a loft with three dudes and have it not be awkward. Well, at least, she doesn't think it's ever awkward. This series is full of the perfect one-liners, a cat and a nerdy girl that just likes to sing everything. Basically your life in a television show. The fifth season is airing now, go catch up on the first four asap. I'm laughing just typing about it, it's that good.

6. "Grey's Anatomy"

You might want to hit up Costco for their gigantic packages of tissues before starting, or re-watching, this series. I could say it's all about saving lives and how being doctors change the characters for the better. But I'd be lying considering it's mostly about sexual tension. Grab your 'person' and cry with them as you watch.

7. "Criminal Minds"

You didn't think I'd leave out one of the best crime dramas, did you? Following along the behavioral analysis unit of the FBI, CM keeps you on the edge of the couch while still making you giggle and blush at the way Morgan talks to Garcia (All men should take note: that's how women want to be talked to). At least one cast member changes almost every season so make sure to start from the beginning, don't let the 11 seasons intimidate you, baby girl.

After watching one or all of these shows, Netflix should have some pretty good suggestions for some others you should watch. Or check back in with me when I'm on a break from a binge myself. Speaking of, I have a show to get back to...

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
