A couple of weeks ago I talked about how I preferred cheaper makeup. I have a few different brands that I prefer that are pretty reasonably priced.
1. Physicians Formula.
Physicians Formula is a very high quality brand of makeup, everything I have bought from Physicians Formula is under $20. Also everything works very well for such inexpensive makeup. I recommend the liquid foundation in the Physicians Formula brand. All I have to do is use a little bit of it and blend it it with a beauty blender. It looks natural, and it matches my skin tone. Also, I get to cover up the blemishes on my face quite easily with it.
2. El.f.
E.l.f is one of the least expensive brands I have found that I love. I love their eyeshadow – also the smudge pot eyeshadow is very affordable and you don’t have to use much of it every time you apply it. In fact, I found the smudge pot eyeshadow at the dollar store, so it was only a dollar. The regular eyeshadow is also very nice.
3. NYX.
NYX is also a very popular brand of makeup that is quite affordable. I like their eyeliner and eyeshadow. It’s quite high quality for a makeup you can buy basically anywhere that sells makeup. It works well and is cheaper than Physicians Formula, but a bit more than e.l.f. I believe.
4. Maybelline.
Maybelline’s mascara is one of the best mascaras I have used. It is under $10 and lasts me a couple of months. I like the colossal mascara, it actually does make your eyelashes significantly bigger. I also love the Mega Plush mascara made by Maybelline, because unlike other mascaras your lashes stay soft with that kind of mascara. I also used to use Maybelline’s BB Cream, it worked very well and was not very expensive.
5. L’Oréal.
L’Oréal has a really nice powder. I use it after I put on BB Cream. It makes your skin less shiny and more matte. It is quite affordable and works very well. It lasts a long time also. I prefer the true match powder my L’Oréal compared to other powders because it is not too expensive and works with other brands of makeup.
My favorite brand out of these five would probably be the Physicians Formula. I like that brand best because the product I recommended was the best makeup product I’ve found, as just one step covers your facial blemishes. I find good makeup that is affordable hard to find, you have to find the right shade, and sometimes they don’t have your shade in the brands you prefer so you have to change what you get. I like makeup because I feel that it is a way to express yourself that is not extreme because you can just remove it at the end of the day. Some people find it pointless to wear makeup, but some people just feel better about how they look when they wear it.
