The best thing about college is that unlike high school, you get to pick and choose (most) of your classes that are designed for your chosen major and minor. The unfortunate part is that some of those classes you want and need to take are scheduled for 8 a.m.
For those of you who have an 8 a.m. Monday through Friday, I feel your pain. It sucks. You develop an attachment to your bed, which is why naps become an essential part of your day.
All of your friends will say you nap a lot, but they don't understand how hard it is waking up around 7 a.m. every morning, forcing you to binge drink several cups of coffee before class.
A new semester is approaching, so naturally you get onto schedule builder, and that is when the trouble begins.
A class you need is already full for the 9:30 a.m. time, thus forcing you to sign up for the 8 a.m.
Because you're a brat, and totally not a morning person, you do everything in your power to take this class at a later time.
You obsessively check to see if anyone dropped the class as well as email the professor to get in, but no, you're stuck.
The first day of classes start, woohoo! You're super excited to be in this class to begin with, and in walks one of your classmates with full hair and makeup done.
It is 8 a.m. girlfriend.
