At first you tell yourself this year will be different, you will wrap presents, and you buy holiday wrapping paper

You get fancy bows to put on all your presents too!

You make sure you buy an endless supply of tape

You can't wait to see your presents looking Pinterest-worthy

You start cutting your paper, but it is already cut diagonally and it looks like a child did it

You start to tape it to make it look better, even though it just gets worse

You decide to start over, even though that's money being thrown out

You think you did it better the second time and are imagining a beautiful wrapping job

Then you look at it and see that it's worse than the first

And then you just resort to gift bags
