Senior year of college can be amazing. It’s your last year in college and it’s the last year before heading out into the real world.
Although there is so much that needs to be done, whether it be applying for graduate school or applying for jobs, you can’t help but just push everything away.
Your homework to-do list is on your screen and instead of opening up your textbook, you log onto Facebook just because it’s your last semester and you’re almost done.
Counting down the weeks until graduation, you can’t help but ponder what the real world is going to be like.
The feeling of being almost done is indescribable. You constantly think of what is going to happen after graduation. How your life is going to end up. What you spent your last 4 years in college is finally going to pay off once you get your dream job.
It’s difficult to stay focused on school especially when you know you’re so close to being done. However, it necessary to stay on task and aim for the end goal: graduation.
While we constantly think about graduation and how we are almost done, it’s so easy to push all of our work aside and think we are done with school, but we have to keep pushing through.
Senioritis is real, it’s a struggle.
