I somehow broke my iPhone and temporarily had to use my old android for a few days while I waited for a new phone I ordered to come. Wow was it a struggle. I am aware that even having the opportunity to have a cell phone is a luxury that not everyone has, but that doesn't take away from the inconveniences that I had over the few days with my back up phone. Here are the 10 struggles of using an android after you have had an iPhone.
1. Did my message deliver?
Did the person I am texting get my message or is it lost somewhere out there in text message no man's land.
2. Did you read my message?
Not really sure if you're ignoring me or if that message is still in that text message limbo where no one knows what happens to them.
3. Lack of FaceTime.
I can't see my friends' faces while I talk to them, what ever will I do!?
4. Weird Emojis.
This is weird, I don't like it. Where is the ___ emoji? It probably doesn't even exist on here.
5. Group texts come through weird, or not at all.
Hi friends, remember I'm still here. It's more inconvenient to talk to me, but I'm still here.
6. No one has a charger that fits your phone.
"Does anyone have an android charger...?"
7. It makes weird Android sounds.
What is that sound? Oh it's my phone.
8. People don't know when I am ignoring them.
I love having my reads on because people know when I am intentionally not responding and that I have either seen what they said and they know that as confirmation or that I have seen what they said and simply do not feel the need to reply.
9. Snapchat doesn't work right.
Snapchat was made for iPhones and that is where it works best. My Snaps won't send/load!
