The struggle every student faces while preparing for finals.

It's that time of year again. Finals week has arrived. Finals can be the most stressful and frustrating time for students. A time when students are forced to lock themselves in the library and study large amounts of information for a test that determines their grades. Here is my depiction of finals week.

1. You start the week completely motivated and ready to conquer the world.

2. The first couple hours you feel incredibly productive as if nothing can stand in your way.

3. You decide to take a Netflix break to reward your productivity.

4. Then, you try to justify procrastinating even more.

5. You finally sit down to study and realize you don't remember anything from this semester.

6. You start to realize you are going to have to put in more effort than you initially intended to.

8. It's midnight and you have been studying all day.

9. You've been up an unreasonably long time and by now coffee isn't even doing the trick.

10. Walking into your first final.

11. Walking out of your first final.

12. You try to justify what just happened.

13. You come up with a speech to tell your parents if your grades don't turn out as you hoped they would.

14. That feeling you get when you complete your last final.

Good luck to everyone on finals! Go to the library, pound some coffee, and get to work!

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Is there really such a difference in Challah bread or Easter Bread?

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
